to help with any issues related to e-visas.

This affects any resident that has a BRP primarily. it will expire on 31st December 2024 and, before this date, everyone must register for an e-visa account.
All BRP cards will be issued electronically after December 2024. This will also affect anyone with a BRC, Wet ink stamps such as indefinite leave to enter stamps and those with vignette stickers in passports.

Haringey Works is thrilled to announce the launch of the Northumberland Park Job Club at the Northumberland Park Neighbourhood Resource Centre.
This initiative is part of our new outreach strategy to bring employment support closer to residents.
The Job Club will offer localised, tailored assistance for jobseekers and those facing employment challenges, and we need your support to make this initiative a success.

The Job Club will run for six weeks initially, with a review afterwards. It will provide a mix of job search assistance, CV building, interview preparation, and workshops.
Our goal is to connect residents with local job opportunities and help them gain the skills, support, and networks needed to advance their careers.

The Northumberland Park Job Club will launch on 15 January 2025, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
Subsequent sessions will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 12 pm, starting 22 January 2025.

Girls – have your say about parks
and Community Gardens!

The University of Westminster, in partnership with the McPin Foundation, are looking to carry out a research project on the impact that the development of community gardens can have on the mental health of girls aged 11 – 18 years old. To support this work, they are organising an initial x2 hour workshop at Living Under One Sun (LUOS) in Down Lane Park from 3.45 – 5.45 this Friday (27 th September). Up to 10 girls aged 11 – 18 years can take part and they will each receive £20 e-gift vouchers as a thank you.

Food and Community Growing for Women and Girls

Calling all Women and girls!

Join us for this 10 week land based programme growing food and community.
We will be learning all about our food and land heritage, organic food growing,
soil care, preparation, cultivation, harvest and land maintenance.
Suitable for Women and Girls aged 16+, there are 5 free places available for Tottenham residents
in return for equivalent hours volunteering to care for Down Lane Park improvements
and local green spaces.

Fundraiser for Medical Aid in Gaza

Please join us for a local humanitarian fundraising night of live music, DJs and discussion to raise funds for MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians), in solidarity with residents caught in the war in Gaza. The night will host musicians from Palestine, Syria, Australia and the UK.
The event will run from 18:00-23:30 and there will be food and drink for sale.
